Hi all, new here. I didn't know where to post this question so I picked this one. Actually I have two questions, but I will ask the other in another post. Anyway here goes,,, I'm a 54 year old male in good shape 5' 10' 155lbs. A couple of days ago I had to dig a ditch (by hand) for a pipeline. It took me two evenings 20" deep 80' long. The day after I finished I had to roll out of bed. Had to take about 7 or 8 steps to fully stand up straight. And then it was not a true straight. Walking slightly bent over with bad back pain. I think I strained my back muscles. I've read were it's best to just go on doing what you do and not lay in bed. So here's my question to you,,, how long do you think it will be before I can stand straight up and perform normally and two,, do you know of any stretching exercises that may ease the pain. I do not take any medication of any kind including
aspirin. Anyone out there that experienced the same condition at one time feel free to chime in. Thanks in advance. RRM
