Is it true that men can retain their youthfulness longer than women?

I saw many men around the age of 45+ yet still looks like they are in their mid 30's.Their hair does turn to grey for sure but still good looking with hardly any little wrinkles on their faces plus a muscular body and a strong relationship drive. Many of them are still fertile according to some research. Sometimes their ladies just can't keep up with their relationship crazed and often many women already gone to menopause in during this age. Is this why men in the old age can have many wives? What do you ladies think about this?
