2006 INBA Natural Olympia IX

The International Natural Bodybuilding Association
<http://www.inba.com.au/800_enter.html> will be holding its ninth
Natural Olympia competition November 18, 2006 in Perth, Western
Australia.

Venue: Perth Convention Exhibtion Centre, Level 2, Auditorium
Address: 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth
Promoter: Wayne McDonald, INBA World Vice-President and Founder of
Natural Bodybuilding in Australia.

McDonald calls it, "the biggest and most prestigious drug-free
bodybuilding and fitness event in the world."

According to info at their website, "The INBA Natural Olympia is
recognised as the pinnacle and most prestigious of natural bodybuilding
events - an international, 5 year minimum drug-free competition for the
best of the best natural athletes who qualify to compete."

And I found this part humorous:

"A final reminder: Be aware of the risks of applying contest colour in
hotel rooms. Hotels will charge for damage caused by stains to their
room, white towels and sheets - competitors should bring their own
towels and sheets."

At the recent Maryland State Championships, as I was washing my hands
in the men's room, I thought of some "You Might Be A Redneck"-type
humor but with a bodybuilding twist:

"If there's fake tan all over the toilet seat... you might be at a
bodybuilding contest!"

(ba dump bump)

I'll be there. It's not very often I get the opportunity to go to an
international bodybuilding event (read: never). I'd make a comment
about Perth not getting anything major very often but the next day is
the Red Bull air race (www.redbullairrace.com).

There used to be another mfw regular here from Perth but I don't know
if he's still around...

I'm not big on the ROTFLMAO schtufff, but ROTFLMAO!!! D

If within 10 minutes you hear Metallica, Beethoven, Ludacris, Pat
Benatar, and Coldplay without changing the radio dial or switching
CDs...
If some guy from Phoenix is screaming, "My wrists are tinier than
Jackie Paisley's! My wrists are tinier than Jackie Paisley's! And I
have a 25-inch waist!"...
If very large men are wearing clown pants and you're NOT at the
circus...

There was actually a guy wearing those at the Maryland contest. I was
like, "Is it the '80s again?"

If you hear the first minute or so of "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" by
Shania Twain so many times you want to kill yourself...

If you're so sick of "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" you seriously consider
staying home for the night instead...

If you wish you were watching on video so you could use the fast
forward or mute button for the "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" posing
routines...

If you start wondering how Shania Twain would look onstage in a string
bikini...

If you take ear plugs AND ear muffs, just in case anyone poses to "Man,
I Feel Like A Woman"...


I could go on and on...

Seriously, at one comp I went to a few years ago, it seemed like every
second girl posed to that song. The audience was groaning by the end.

That song was designed to make your testicles shrink.

Actually, all stuff by performed by that woman makes my testicles shrink.

Also, there are rumours that if you listen to stuff a little too often, you
develop a certain affinity for nice, little shiny guns...
