Default Atheism or is Christ returning in our lifetime?

Just curious - who believes that there is a messiah? Who is an atheist?
(80% of Scandinavians are atheists according to a recent study)

Don't be bashful - you will still go to heaven (unless you've done some
really bad shit! - but then if you repent and keep going to church on
Sunday. God should be cool about it) (unless it was *really* bad shit!

You are well aware that I am an atheist Jew, so why are you asking me?

I know you were talking directly to me. The voices in my head do not
lie.

That's just plain silly; cross trainers are gym fitness equipment.

Jesus may have been able to perform miracles, but why would he opt to
wear two big machines on his feet?

Anyway, cross trainers hadn't been invented 2000 years ago.

Watch my lips EatMe:

front of a house in South Carolina in the black belt somewhere it said
"bible readings and leg waxing")

I just thought you should have the opportunity to repent - otherwise Jesus
died for nothing and we wouldn't want that now, would we? All that trouble,
carrying that cross down those grubby streets - hanging up there on the
cross with those other damn Jews . . .and those last words uttered in his
last gasp of life . . ."C-c- ohen . . .you'll be s-s-orry . . ."

He's probably sick of quite a few of the offerings here, given that
the same things keep coming up.

As you know, you can't keep a good man down, but then you shouldn't
have eaten him in the first place.

Have a great Christmas Oz - you know I intend to! ;o)

I suggest Jesus was more of an illusionist than a joke telling stand
up comedian, which most of his 'miracles' made perfectly clear.

Chuck in the U.S., land of marketing and PV, cross-trainers are a
sub-category of shoe my ill-informed English twit.

Sigh. Explaining humor (humour to you Chuck) is akin to explaining
cause and effect to Hankey.

If comedy was his strong suit, I would have strongly advised Jesus not to
quit his day job.

You know me better than that!

On another note I am disappointed that this thread did not uncover a bible
thumper or two - where is the religious right when we are looking to have a
bit of fun? Really we need more evangelists here - they are not doing God's
will obviously

Yeah? So you say you American tit-head!

In the UK, land of the slavish adoption of all American crappy trends,
cross trainers are either workout machines, or people who work in gyms
whose piles are playing up!

It is not clear from the scriptures that Jesus was, is and ever shalt
be, into comedy, as it is not what saviours of the world generally do,
particularly those designated as the son of God.

Try alt.support.godswill.misc. It is where all those looking for the
meaning of life congregate, which also attracts a number of
piss-takers who risk eternal damnation.

While looking for alt.support.godswill.misc, I stumbled on

Most? Well, please, educate me. Which ones (most) are false and which ones
(the few left) can you not explain?

I will wait to eternity for this answer.

Who said anything about "false", people at the time were under the
illusion they were real, and to be Frank, I am unable to explain any
of them!
