Default Basic info on supplements regimen options

Seems like everyone else who posts on this site knows the information,
so if someone knows an unbiased article or something which gives you
the main options it would be helpful. Bought TwinLabs ripped fuel a
while back and found it had a result, bought ZMA Fuel and seemed like
it did something good, read something about Creatine and bought some
powder but did not use it consistently mainly because it is powder
form. Bought Glutamine Fuel and never used it. Anyone have some basic
info as to (a) what these are supposed to do, (b) whether they should
be taken together, if at all. (As far as a I can figure out the Ripped
Fuel does more or less what the title says, at least for me; the ZMA
Fuel and Creatine might be for building muscle or strength or both and
do have some effect. Glutamate is a mystery.

Default Re: Basic info on supplements regimen options

I have been working out for a while and am no expert, but here is my
opinion: ZMA is supposed to have a positive effect on testerstone
production which should help build muscle. I think it is taken at bed
time. Personally, I could not tell any effect. It did seem to induce
"odd dreams" the whole time I took it. Gultamine is the most abundant
amino acid in skelatal muscle. It is easily depleted by exercise. It
is a good thing to take. Creatine! This is the only supplement that
has real proof of working. Its effect is to pull water into the muscle
causing muscle to pump-up. It also pulls in nutrients and aminos that
help build muscle. I think you should follow the label directions for
these two. Stacking, as it is known, should not be a concern. If you
are going to take any supplements, I think you should take creatine and
whey protein. This is a potent mix for muscle development. AST
supplements have an excellent web site and has traing programs and
explains the use of supplements very well and it's free.

Thanks. That AST site also gives a lot of good info, even it it has a
commercial angle to it.
