Default Belly?

Hi there. I'm thin and fit. However I have some fat around my lower stomach.
Can anyone recommend a way to reduce? I don't eat much and frequently go to
the gym. Looks a little odd having a six-pack with this little bulge below
it. Any tips? What exercises/training would you recommend? Thanks!

I used to have the same problem, just a little pinch of a bulge, as if
an invisible hand was pinching me there, right underneath my six pack.

It's hereditary, it belongs there. Unless you basically starve
yourself, be glad you have a six-pack, at least. As a kid, I had an
eight-pack (easy when you're a kid, I know)...now I barely have a four-
pack and I wish I had my lil' bulge again, and with it the six-pack....

Have you heard of The Abs Diet? Available online at http://theabsdiet.com/
or at your local Wal-Mart for about ten bucks. There are a number of
"The Abs Diet" products available including at least two DVDs in
addition to several related books.

The book's author, David Zinczenko, has an interesting and humorous
style of writing and the info is spot on, imo.

Related MFW trivia (with a significant Duuuh factor for the obvious,
but I hadn't noticed it until just recently): David Zinczenko's
initials are DZ which, if you've read or lurked in MFW for any length
of time, you might recognize from posts in the MFW ng.

BUY THE BOOK! LOSE THE BULGE! ;o)

How and where we each store fat is largely genetic. You might try to
lift weights and put a bit more muscle on your frame, and/or lifting can
improve your posture. Sometimes the appearance of a belly is the result
of poor posture, at least in part. Tight hip flexors and a tight lower
back contribute.

Little late, Freides. The OP is more than likely long gone. Especially
after Ari told him he's pregnant. Hmm. I guess the OP could be a her.
Either way, I doubt they stuck around after the "Eat more" advice.

And genetic schemetic, lowering calories, increasing exercise, and,
yeah, I suppose if necessary, some lipo will work for just about
everyone.

Try Tae-bo or boxing. It makes you use your core (stomach) muscles
and you just might be able to make that little flab go bye bye!
