Not to pick a nit, but a shlemiel is the guy who always spills the
soup; a shlimazel is the guy the soup spills on. With that in mind,
perhaps... I should STFU. ;o)

I'm glad you brought that up, Curt. A shlemiel may indeed be a soup
spiller, but that's not the only definition. In fact, I happen to have
Leo Rosten's _The New Joys of Yiddish_ right here, and the first
definition he gives for shlemiel is "A foolish person; a simpleton." I
believe that does apply here. IOW, perhaps you should STFU. |

Part of the problem may be that weight-lifting kids are prone to
really stacking up the bar with plate after plate...certainly one can
only do so much "work" with calisthenics, whereas with weights, kids
could even injure themselves, in addition to the possibility of
stunting their growth....

Neither has the other side of the debate.
You know why?
Because there's no definitive evidence anyway!
So all I'm saying is, why chance it, you have only the teenage years
to get your height, whereas decades after that for packing on mass.
But don't let any of that stop you from dusting off the ol' message
filters.
Just say you want to believe what you want to believe. No need for
"evidence" and all that other bullshit.

What good's a kill file if it's just a flag to wave around, you idiot?
You've protested that you have me kill filed on more than one occasion
