| | | Book recommendation for minimal-equipment, stress / resistanceexercise? Hi,
I'm too cheap for a gym membership, I like to exercise at home,
with dumbbells, and just pushups, and a sort of squat. But I'm looking
for a book with more ideas on low-impact 'stress' or 'resistance'
exercises, that don't take equipment beyond dumbbells.
Any stand out? Even good keywords to search on would be helpful.
Thanks,
Alex |

You can order his booklets there, but check out free stuff first.
Including http://www.ironsports.tv/in_shape.htm.

Agreed 100%
Also Pavel's "Naked Warrior", http://www.kbnj.com.nw.htm - the focus
isn't on "low-impact" but rather on pure strength without weights.
Since you mention pushups, this is the book to learn how to do a
one-armer from, as well as a one-legged squat.
Yet another things - rings. See http://www.ringtraining.com - in
particular, there are lots of pushup variations you can do with them,
since you mention pushups.

Bill Pearl's <http://www.billpearl.com/bpprograms.asp> seems eminently
sensible to me. |

The only thing worse than a fucking spammer is a fucking spammer who can't fucking type.
Had he spelled it right, it would have taken you to a link from which he profits at a place
not even close to the best pricing.
You can get MUCH better pricing information independently via this route: http://www.bookfinder.com/search/?ac...19648_1:24:114
Or, you can pay about 50% MORE and support the fucking lowlife spammer. Your choice. |
