Default Chest muscle twitching and reduced strength

My left chest is strong and it doesn't twitch. my right side twitches
and has gotten a lot weaker now. one of my friends said that this
probably a nerve issue. prior to all this, which happened about 2
months ago, i was quite tough. than, almost overnight, my benchpress
decreased markedly. and i noticed that my right pecs twitched. it
didn't hurt, but it was annoying.

what do you think this is, and what should i do about it?

I think it's probably a toomah. I definitely think you should ask for
more medical opinions from complete strangers on the internet.

Damn! I was hoping to be the first to say it was a toomah. Oh, well
....

All kidding aside, the best thing the OP could do, short of a doctor's
visit, would be simply to take a week or two off then start back again
easily.

In which case, amputate.

A pinched nerve sounded consistent with what I have heard in prior
threads. A doctors visit would be advisable as others have pointed
out.

Things dont just happen 'overnite', you just didnt notice it before.
Have you changed anything in your upper body workout? Increased
weights, or added new exercises? Other than benchpress do you do other
chest exercises that alternate sides? Do you eat something before you
go to the gym? Make any changes there? Muscle twitching is usually a
symptom of fatigue. A pinched nerve as others suggested usually causes
pain and you say you dont experience any when this twitching happens.
Most people have one side that is weaker than the other. It could just
be as you have progressed in weights and the one side cannot keep up
as it could before.
