A follow-up report states that it was actually a lamb and not a Jack
Russell terrier that saved the children.

1) The pit bulls probably lunged at George the JRT, not the kids. Not
surprising.

2) The owner of the pit bulls should be humanely euthanized for allowing his
dogs to run around the neighborhood unattended.

3) Knowing JRTs, it doesn't surprise me at all that the little dog would
take on the pit bulls. JRTs are tough little bastards.
