Default EVERYONE'S OPINION'S IMPORTANT

Honestly, no kidding here. i would like to know people your
individual's opinion as to whose physiques you wanted to have. we
have our models in physique, well, not role models though.

p.s. no ahnuld or oliva please. just the new guys with potential. i
don't like phil "the gift" heath.. richard jones blows him away... he
has a great physique though i read he's a full time cop.

Kim Basinger, J Lo, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Beals, Jessica Alba, oh,
just to name a few.

Oh, you meant men?

Uh...

Seriously,

http://www.richardjonesusa.com/

pretty cool site and, yeah, I've seen him on at least one magazine
cover (his Flash thing at his web site shows off a few).

While it would be cool to be as big as, say, IFBB pro Dennis James,
I'm content to be Curtis James albeit definitely moreso with some
longer clavicles, narrower hip bones, hyooooogER (if that's possible -
cough) arms, and,

uh, calves. http://www.geocities.com/curt_james/calvin.html

Period.

Okay, less oily skin would be cool. And 20-20 vision (how much does
that laser eye surgery cost again?), and, and, and...

Hmph.

Downer thread, dood. ;o)

Pete,
PLEASE. Vic Richards was a big fat clown who never had the balls to get on
stage. He was a joke and a charlatan. How many shows did he win??

Who cares? He looked like shit. Do you just care about what a guy weighs?
BTW, he was not close to 320 in that video.

That is not a real show. It really does not matter what you or other Vic
fans think as he never competed and never will. To be honest Pete, I have
never understood why anyone would use drugs etc. just to walk around being
"big."

Yes he did. He won the Mr. Nigeria and a few other shows as well.

That was not just SOME exhibition.

That was the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived!
(Lee Priest is also very good...)

Rob... are you serious ?!?!?!

Watch it again. Please.

Eh... 320 pounds of LBM. LBM! Aside from that, he also has a very tiney
waist. His joints seem reasonably small as well. Awesome genetics.

Okay, perhaps 280 then. BEING 5 feet 9!

Why not?

Is Nigeria not a real Country? That doesnt make any sense.

I never understood why some guys spend $100.000 on drugs each year and bring
home a plastic trophy. All the guys i know who use large amounts of steroids
AND GH are either doorman or they sell the stuff themselves. Or worse.

And you know what i am talking about.

I also never understood why anyone would risc his health for some stupid
amatuer show.

And i am NOT talking about steroids...

For myself, i got 296 pounds (134 kilo) three years ago. I know it doesnt
mean anything to you but it does to me.

The costs?

Lets see...

A gram of test a week is E 30. 400 Deca is E 15 8 weeks is E 360,-

Bottle of 100 oxymeth was 120. 400 Dianabol was 120 as well.

Total costs E 600,- And i retained it for a long time. NO GH, diuretics,
EPO, thyroid, and all that shit.

Last 20 years i think i have spend E 3000, - on steroids or so. I did mostly
injectables, and they were very cheap in the past.

I just like being "big" Robert. Is that a problem for you?

Who? Vic? Sorry, but he won nothing.

Lee Priest has THE ugliest body I have ever seen. Anyone who is that short
can never look good. Their head is too large for their bodies etc.

Tiny waist? Come on Pete. His waste was far from being tiny. He had the
genetics for large arms and legs, but the rest was OK.

Pete,
There are big guys in every gym, so what? It would be like some multi
millionaire who bought a Formula 1 car and took it to the track all the
time, but never competed in a real race.

I just think it is silly. Why carry around the extra weight when it does
nothing for you? 99% of the women you meet don't like it and it hurts your
health, even if you were 100% natural. To be honest Pete, weighing 300 lbs
means nothing.

Coleman's arms, imo, are more impressive than Lee's. Btw, just read in
a recent MMI that Priest is making noise about returning to the IFBB
fold as it seems that PDI is doomed. Was hoping that Wayne's foray
would be successful. (

I'm a disagreeable bastard, you may begin to believe, as though Platz
had fantastic thighs, his thick waist made his physique less than
exemplary, imo.

I'm sure he's not crying over my lack of enthusiasm for his bod.

Agreed!

Please, 'bert is a bodybuilding genius. Why, just recently he
mentioned that Vic Richards is

http://www.vicrichards.com/

And from Richards' bio available at that URL:

"Vic stands 5'10" at 370 pounds of solid muscle. He has been the only
bodybuilder that has risen to the top without believing in
conventional bodybuilding competition."

This fact - that Vic didn't/doesn't believe in conventional
bodybuilding competition - is what, I believe - trips Sc(huh?) up. If
you don't compete then you're somehow chicken. A childish perspective
at best.

Schwarzenegger himself offered an opinon on this attitude after a
fashion:

"The better you get, the less you run around showing off as a muscle
guy. you know, you wear regular shirts - not always trying to show off
what you have. You talk less about it. It's like you have a little BMW
- you want to race the hell out of this car, because you know it's
just going 110. But if you see guys driving a Ferrari or a
Lamborghini, they slide around at 60 on the freeway because they know
if they press on that accelerator they are going to go 170. These
things are the same in every field."

Which - hey, enjoy your own interpretation - by my way of thinking
indicates that it's the insecure guys who would be more inclined to
compete versus guys who have nothing to prove. Certainly Schuh's
physique was incredible, but I'd say it's also certain - iwithout a
shadow of a doubt - that Schuh's completely off the mark wrt his
remarks about Vic Richards.

It's best that 'bert has me kill filed. He's obviously content with
his unconscious incompetence. Ignorance is truly bliss, apparently.
Plus it's all opinion, so what difference does it make that ~*SCHUH IS

What's a real show? ALL shows are jokes to the majority of the planet,
'bert. Your mister whatever makes not a lick of difference to anyone
other than you and a few of your friends at best. Or some might say
that. Not me, of course, as I'm a bodybuilding fan. Respect for the
contest and the competitors - but NOT for your 100% stank attitude,
'bert.

> It really does not matter what

See? Stank and arrogant beyond belief.

Again, it's best that Schuh has me kill filed. He, I suspect, couldn't
handle the stress of hearing or reading any contradiction to his
opinion. Pity.

Schuh would win the Humour Awards Gold each month if he wasn't so
pathetic. He seems to think his opinion is the only one that counts.

You're welcome to your opinion, of course. And I agree on his positive
posts - however they're, unfortunately, few and far between. More
often than not his posts amount to an EFF YOU, MORON response to a
spammer or someone he disagrees with.

The posts re getting as lean as possible before building and the Miles
O'Keeffe Tarzan post are some good reading by Schuh, iMo.

I think if he perceives a poster to be genuine he will reply positively.
What he does have is the ability to be inspirational - not just a conduit
for information - there is 'information' and 'inspiration' imo. If you have
a guy who has had some bad experience maybe a medical issue and someone
like Rob can give him inspiration/motivation on how to overcome his problem
and to make goals and stick to them,. that is gold and Rob is one of the
few here cabable of that and has done it lots of times. Most others who post
here can inform period. (By the way it was Pete who made that comment
about Nigeria being a country etc who I would like to nominate for that
humour award)

Well, surviving kidney loss is indeed inspirational.

Agreed. B-b-b-ut Schuh said Mr. Nigeria didn't count as a REAL
bodybuilding competition. Regardless, your nomination is in the pipe,
good sir! Thank you for participating in the process.

It;s not just the fact that he survived . . . it is his ability to motivate
others - which is in direct contrast to someone like Brinks - who dispenses
information but has never gone beyond that

No, I agree with you. Pete was funny. As was his intent, imo. Schuh,
otoh, was just being a dismissive jerk.

You got me. I'm an anonymous coward. In fact, Curt is an acronym. I
guess you'd call me an, uh, anonymous acronymonius(?) coward?

CURT - Cowardly Unrepentant Reactive Troll?

i KEED! i KEED!

I do not recognize the term troll. I post and, yes, I reply. I am not
anonymous.

Curt is indeed my real name. Curtis, actually, but my friends call me
Curt. And, hey, as Jason mentioned elsewhere in this fine newsgroup,
we're all friends here, right?

;o)

David,
I was not close to being a pro. I'm glad you like some of my ideas, but I
would never claim to be nor have been a professional bodybuilder.

He's a pro in my book, too. A *pro*lapsed attitude-having jerk who
won't say a word to anyone in the gym until he politely (cough) asks
for them to share a machine or dumbbells so he can complete his own
workout. If they don't respond immediately then he offers a smart
remark and calls them a hog under his breath or, hey, simply posts
about them on Usenet.

Haha!

But really. He did won a few minor shows.

Thats true.

But i think he carries more LBM on his frame then anyone else. Including
coleman.

His legs are extremely massive, and even his calves are huge. Not bad for an
African.

HAHAHA !!!

You are something else, Rob.

OOMPA LOOMPA !!!

See?

My lomg term memory is freaky...

Narrow then?

Okay, he is a little bloated, but he doesnt have a wide waist. His abs and
obliques are huge because of the heavy leg work. You cant compare him to
Wheeler.

> He had the genetics for large arms and legs, but the rest was OK.

I think he was frwaky, Rob. In 1984, at a very young age, he was 270. In the
late eigthies, hes over 300 pounds.

All the other drugs. Like diuretics and insuline. Too name just 2.
