Much like golf, and as you previously stated, skeet shooting (which is
more commonly known in England as clay pigeon shooting, can become
seriously addictive the more proficient you become. |

So I've been warned... ;-)
On the up-side, I've been trying to find an outdoor activity that my
father enjoys that we can enjoy together.
He _used_ to shoot skeet and even won some turkey shoots but quit doing
it even tho' he enjoyed it. Probably due to the cost as he was living
only on his SSI.
Now that he lives with me I think he is interested in taking it up
again. It's sure a lot more fun (and challenging) than shooting at paper
targets...
He loves to talk about those turkey shoots.
It always pissed off the Benelli owners when he beat them with his
$300.00 Mossberg.

That's a splendid idea; as a family we've been shooting together since
I was a young boy, including my wife's family in later years.
A very bonding experience and highly recommended! ;o) |
