Default Fitness for the Over 40 Crowd

I will turn 60 soon and have had a fitness lifestyle for a long time.
I see a fair number of people in the 40-70 age group at my gym who
suddenly appear after having taken out a trial membership for a short
period. Some might even be accompanied by a personal trainer. While a
few stay on and become more permenent members, the majority soon
disappear, either having been discouraged by lack of immediate
results, no one to relate to about what they wish to do, little
information about how to go about what they wish to do, lack of
inspiration, a slight feeling of being out of place being surrounded
by many younger people who have advanced nicely, or a combination of
several of the above.

I have started a blog targeted exactly to this crowd. Please visit me
at http://baby-boomer-fitness.blogspot.com/ for a series of somewhat
chronological posts on this topic

Greg, looks like you are trying sell stuff.

I'm 66 and I spend 6 hours a week in the gym plus 6 hours on a bike.

Most people drop out because they are to lazy to workout. They always push
to hard the first few workouts and it hurt so they don't come back, that's
old and young.

ANYWAY, I think you are trying to run a commercial site. Why don't you just
call it that then go from there.

That sounds vaguely satanic

Or they expect far too much for the paltry effort they put in, etc.
BTW, sorry to get all spelly on you but it's "too," not "to."
