Default Giving TM the truth test...

TM, who happens to be 35 years old and morbidly obese (BMI 40+), claims
because he can walk briskly for 30 mintues, has the same risk of premature
death as someone who is of normal BMI and can walk briskly for 30 mintues.
He has failed repeatedly to prove this assertion.

Here's my challenge to TM: Prove your assertion. Remember that your proof
needs to include a *distinct* group of people who have BMI's over 40. Are
you going to fail again miserably in your efforts to prove this ludicrous
claim of yours? Your type of propaganda kills people.

Already posted the article with the exact quote. Please look back and
see.

Prove what part of it? The proof that "30 minute brisk walk on most days
of the week is all the exercise you need" is already established in
previous posts. All you have to do is look back in Google groups and find
it. You're welcomed.

Great, you going to give me the 1.2 million bucks it will take for me to
personally conduct the experiment that you have requested?

Who gives a fuck about your challenge to anybody? As I have asserted
before you are far to stupid to be allowed to live. Your type of
bullshit kills as well. It bores people to death.

Here's your exact assertion:

Let's see...

"because he can walk briskly for 30 mintues, has the same risk of
premature death as someone who is of normal BMI and can walk briskly for
30 mintues."

Doctor Blair already did, dumbass.

"It may be possible to reduce all-cause death rates among older adults,
including those who are obese, by promoting regular physical activity,
such as brisk walking for 30 minutes or more on most days of the week

"Normal-weight individuals in our study had greater longevity only if they
were physically fit; furthermore, obese individuals who were fit did not
have increased mortality," the authors conclude.

Nope. That is a selective quote. Keep reading.

Stupid TM. Re-read my challenge. In the study that you are quoting, there
is no distinct group of subjects who have a BMI of 40+.

Once again, the snip and run coward selectively quotes the study.

Again. Here's your exact assertion:

From: The Master <tardis@nospam.sdf.lonestar.org.nospam>
Subject: Re: Obesity epidemic (TOTALLY acceptable)
Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2008 13:56:19 +0000
Message-ID: <Pine.NEB.4.64.0804111344260.28048@sdf.lonestar.or g>

"I may be fat, but I CAN walk briskly for 30 minutes... According to the
study, my risk of mortality is the same as a skinny person who can do the
same 30 minute brisk walk."

**end quote**

The part of the study that you selectively omitted. Quoting the study:

"In the study, obese subjects who were fit had a lower risk of dying than
normal-weight subjects who were physically inactive."

You fail. Again.

Also, there were TWO obese classifications. Obese Class I group (BMI
30-34.9) and Obese Class II group (BMI 35+). The article does not state if
one or both Obese groups were being used to draw this conclusion, nor how
high the BMI of the Obese Class II group went. Most fat acceptors,
including you (unless you want to deny it), have a BMI in excess of 40.
That is the threshold of the clinical definition of morbid obesity.

You fail, dumbass. Miserably.

Those ARE the quotes, stupid Kenny. I win, you lose. Deal with it. Cry,
bitch, and moan about it all you like stupid Kenny, the fact remains that
"brisk walking 30 minutes or more on most days of the week" is medically
proven to be enough for obese individuals to "not have increased
mortality". Your continued snottyness is only proof that you are
emotionally broken and cannot rationalize facts that don't fit within your
opinions.

In other words, too bad, sucks to be you.

You edited out the parts of my post where I completely invalidated your
claim. Snip and run cowardice is not victory, dumbass.

You are a failure, TM. That is why your former wife left you after she
lost weight. That is why you buy your shirts at Walmart. That is why you
believe that buying a 3 year old Kia Rio gives you bragging rights. That
is why you used to work at Radio Shack. That is why you are morbidly
obese. Fortunately for you, there should be an electric scooter waiting
for you in Walmart in a few years.

Kind of hard to do that, when I have direct quotes from the medical
doctors who conducted the study. You sure you are reading the results
correctly? Or are you saying that you understand their results better
then they do?

She lives in the same state, my home loan is at a lower rate then the one
I had when I was married to her, and I drive far because the the metro
area I work in has built up. The closest "large land" plots were about 45
minutes away, I live only 15 minutes past that.

I'm not sure what BFE means though... If you mean "out in the middle of
no place", yeah. That's why I was able to get the 1.5 acres. Try finding
a track home that offers you that much.

Reporting that I fit in it properly actually. I've driven a couple
Toyotas, a Mazda, and a Ford. None of them was comfortable to drive. The
Rio, however, was just fine and offered lots of room. Again, as it
relates to the group's charter, "hey people, this car has lots of room!"
If you can't understand that, it's not my fault.

You are suffering from delusions of adequacy.

Do you expect to need a scooter when you're older?

Well, let's see, brain stem. This man drives a car that is
environmentally correct and can fit behind the well after your fellow
stupids said that fat people in general and him in particular said he
couldn't.

You faulted him for being economic with his money. I bet you have your
shirts imported and you drive a SUV. Gas hogged idiot.

You call him a loser but he has his smarts where they belong and you
sit on yours.

You have a problem and should not be seen in public without a keeper.
