Goodbye

Dear Group
A very sad day for me. This group has given me years of joy and
entertainment. I have searched my heart. I have discussed with my family and
very close friends. I feel I am left with very little choice, dear group. A
tear is in my eye right now and there is a lump in my throat (don't worry I
will have it checked out in the morning!)
And especially now that David Cohen my old friend has bid adieu today
I have to now say the words and PLEASE my dear friends forgive me.
I have to say the words right now and cannot hold back any longer

Goodbye David Cohen. I wish you well. We will miss you. (More importantly
will you still buy me that steak dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?)

Well, yes I think Cohen is on the money - after all, you and I teamed up
pretty well then and then of course we had invaluable help from Curt. Our
objective was certainly worthy. I have 12 notches on my keyboard starting
from Hoffy (chicken legs) - remember him, then they began falling from their
perches one at a time.

Who could forget funny little Teddy "Chicken Legs" Hoffman? He was
quite useless but in order to ingratiate himself and curry favour with
John "The Enforcer" Williams, he would support Williams in all he said
and did.

An odd coincidence is that most of that crowd, including Williams, had
'chicken legs' so it must have been chicken leg syndrome that had them
'flock' together, and caused them to get into such a 'flap' when a
couple of nasty 'foxes' came among them.

Fuck them and the chicken legs they toddled off on! ;o)

Oh fuck it; just when I thought I had achieved something. I do wish

It's not me I feel so disappointed for, it's more about the other two
who also worked hard at giving the departed the shits and running them

Probably earlier. They didn't act rudely because they detested
rudeness. They liked a good fight (just like You and Curt do) and they

You think I'm lying? When there were Will and JMW here you were posting
regularly. Now you are pretty much gone and Curt started picking up on

I'll probably stay here for a foreseeable future. I'm a young buck of

Oddly enough, the original denizens of this group were discouraged and
run off by the likes of JMW and Shuh, people who simply shared info and
discussed topic relating to weightlifting got sick of those 2 and others
like them, they got tired of refuting their misinformation and gave up
trying to have a discussion with closed minded idiots who sought to feed
their own egos rather than discuss anything. The cycle seems to be back
to the point where folks can discuss weightlifting and everything else
in a friendly way. One constant throughout the cycles would be Hobbes,
he seems to keep himself neutral and adds helpful info despite the the
fact that different people are bickering.
