Hey,
Is there anything to HMB (aka beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate), or is it
all snake oil? A variety of studies strongly suggest it's effective, but
it's a metabolite of leucine, so doesn't that mean you'd get the same
effect from plain leucine, or even from a good source of leucine, like
whey powder? Has anyone compared HMB + whey to whey alone?
