Default How easy would it be to drop 20 lbs in 2 months(by Christmas) ?

I have been cutting really slow and getting annoyed. If I increased
the size of my caloric deficit for the next two months how realistic
would it be to drop 20 pounds and not lose too much in the way of my
muscle gains?

For "most" people the maximum fat loss while minimizing muscle loss is
1-2lbs/week. A lot depends upon your BF%, diet, exercise, etc. I'd suggest
not shooting for 20lbs. in 9 weeks and instead concentrate on maximizing fat
loss while maintaining muscle mass. If you end up losing say 16lbs. you can
still be happy!

Also keep in mind that the Holidays are the time of year when a lot of
people gain weight. Work towards your goal of losing 20 lbs. but don't be
depressed if you lose less!

Wouldn't you be able to see if it's working as you go?
