Default how many carbs for you to get into ketosis?

I usually stick to 20g or less but that gets to be a drag.
I upped my carbs to 50g and was till able to go into ketosis after about
a day. I think I may go as high as a 100g and still get into ketosis. Or
can I? For those of you on ketogenic diets how many grams of carbs do
you usually eat?

From what I've read, it depends on the individual.

Most seem to recommend below 40 grams for sustained Ketosis.

Me? I have to stay below 20 grams. <sigh>

I think it has a lot to do with your workout schedule.
I think that I can go higher if I am working out hard that day
but lower on recovery days. I think this ties into the logic behind
Lyle MacDonald's "Targeted Ketogenic Diet".
