Actually a very interesting link. Yeah, great bod, back then.
Which makes his entrepreneurial efforts quite at odds w/ his epiphanies and
"mission statement" on p. 2 of the bio.
So, please answer this, cuz I'm actually really interested:
1. How do you justify someone, good at what they do or not, selling a
product that they themselves have PROVEN doesn't work? To wit,
If the Ab Isolator was so good, how come TL didn't have abs?
Now, let me anticipate a possible defense.
Suppose a really overweight smoker sits in a doctor's office, who himself is
really overweight and puffing away, whilst telling sed patient to lose
weight and stop smoking.
Good or Bad?
Well, good, actually, if not a little weird.
The fact that the doc cain't practice what he preaches is his problem, and
doesn't/shouldn't really taint the *advice*.
Although the perception problems are clear.
Now, same scenario, but sed doc whups out a packet of pills, at $150 a pill,
and sez, Take (buy) this 10 pack, and the belly will come off, and the
smoking will stop.
Oh yeah, guar-own-teed, of course, less S&H.
Different story, eh? With the obvious question, Well, muthafucka, why
hasn't it worked for YOU???
This, now, is fraud.
Kapisch??
Now, repeat the above scenario w/ the Gazelle.
2. Why do you think this flagrant hypocrisy never registered on the Great
American Pubic?
What's so exquisite about this is that TL didn't even PRETEND, jack, didn't
even pretend, to have abs. Just wore a body suit.
As you said, DAT is balls.
I wouldn't quite call it admirable, but to each his own.
I am curious, tho, as to an explanation.
Not sure how much TL actually gets from the stuff he promotes. Don't think
he's a principal, more a spokesperson--which no doubt is lucrative.

Who cares? Do you have great abs?
And lets see, he is 53 yrs old ...not in bad shape for his age ...
actually in better shape than probably 95% of men of that age.
The guy has made millions on his books, tapes and products... laughs
all the way to the bank!
Also, the guy has some creds if you look back at his bodybuilding days.
Have a flip thru the pics:

you dont have half the physique he did ...
Two big serious car accidents, which left him with major back problems
and still he came back to fitness instead of quitting.
Altho I have often thought his ponytail was attached to his hat, I
still have respect for the guy for doing his own thing and being good
at it.
