Default How to Train Like a Modern Day Gladiator

Let's face it - - Raw strength, brute power and speed
make up many athletes on the football field.

But no position is put to the test like a middle linebacker.

Picture this. You squat down, ready yourself for the snap
and look across at a big, hairy giant who
wants nothing more than
to sink his meat hooks into you and drive you into the dirt.

He weighs about 350lbs and smells worse than most animals -
(not including his Halitosis breath). Compact in his stance, he
doesn't
reveal his true height which on average is about 6'6".

You wonder how they ever stacked schisse that high.

It's much like the Gladiator days of Rome. Competing
against animals twice and three times their size, these Roman fighters
entertained
audiences by over powering and outsmarting the savage beasts.
More times than not the beasts won.
However, there were instances when victory went to these brave souls.

There is another kind of gladiator. A modern Gridiron one
that uses specialized training methods.
His workouts build power and speed simultaneously.
This unique training style is used not only to stand up and
separate from these Goliath foes, but to also catch cat-like quick
running backs and knock the snot out of him.

He's a called a Linebacker.

If you are wondering, 'Yeah, so what Vince, whats that got to
do with me, man.'

Well, its a comforting feeling knowing that as you train
you will never fear another man, even if he is 3X your
size. Being able to defend yourself or your family at
any time is also comforting feeling.

Just like learning from champion karate experts, wrestlers, boxers, and
so on
you can pick up slight nuances to excel your fitness level.
Practically overnight, you can turn yourself into a modern day
Gladiator.
No, not the Russel Crowe ready-to-blow kind either. A calm and
confident one with all the tools to keep you in peak physical
condition.

Bottom line; you can train like a linebacker to build:

1) RAW Strength,
2) Brute Power
3) Lightning Speed

and the Bonus ...
4) Incinerate FAT in record time.

In my newest course, Linebacker Fitness,
http://www.vincepalko.com/linebacker_fitness.html
I share not 1, not 2 but 8 complete workouts to choose from
so you are never board learning linebacker exercises.
I also give you a 2 DVDs to follow along with if you are
just starting out. No, I didnt hire a bunch of nancy boy/girl models
in leotards
while I instruct what to do.
I'm right there with you pushing it to the limits - just as I'm asking
you to do.

How to train like a modern day gladiator?

You, a pair of dumbbells, and the city zoo's lion's den, of course.

Oh, you think I jest!

(Okay, okay, there were no dumbbells.)

"JESUS WILL SAVE YOU!" But, yeah, some water hoses and tranquilizer
guns couldn't hurt. ;o)
