Default I wonder

Does anyone around here lift any more?

The last few post I did about lifting didn't get much responses!

If we are not going to talk lifting then I see no need to hang around here.

I'm tired of the BS, mine included.

Lets talk body building/weight lifting then add the personal BS

Burr

So true Burr. You speak the truth and I am right behind you. We need to talk
lifting here because that's what it;s all about. By the way what sort of
food do they specialize in in that shithole you live (sorry!!) I mean that
exotic destination that you live it?? Seafood? Is there a McDonalds around
there? Starbucks? Do you have Spanish food? I was in Cebu a while ago - had
some Lumpia and Adobo among other things - pretty good for a shi----!

Tomorrow is a BIG lifting day, going to push some big shit.

The local food is shit but if you go to a nice place to eat it's real nice.
What ever you do don't eat off the street.

If and when the stock market goes back up I'm out of here. I'm down 82% in
three years.
BUT, I'm buying two or three times a week.

Now, you going to wkout tomorrow?

Sounds great, keep pushing.
You'll get bigger and bigger.

Burr's right. You are supposed to push the floor with your legs, even if
you pull your bar up while deadlifting.

Anyway, I found that I lost quite a bit of strength somehow. I mean, quite
a lot. I know I had a flue, but c'mon! That much?

It'll come back.

I've doubled my chinup numbers. Ok, that only means going from four
to eight, but hey, it's progress :-) I'd push harder but I really can't
afford to mess up my elbows just now.

And I got a LifeTime Jungle Gym (tm), so I can throw that over my
chinup bar and do inverted rows with one foot on the floor. It's
basically a very long strap, maybe 20 feet long, with a stirrup on
each end that you can slide back and forth to adjust the length. Like
a set of rings but a bit more versatile.
