Here is what they do to you.
1) Con you into thinking you'll have a specific trainer and that they
will be able to accommodate your needed schedule, as well as neglect
to tell you that they will keep your money even if you are extremely
dissatisfied with their services.
2) They have more books customers than trainers (similar to airline
overbooking), so invariably they will not be able to accommodate the
days and times you need to train consistently.
3) You will be forced to bounce between various trainers instead of
having a consistent trainer over time.
4) Many times you will be cancelled off the schedule without being
notified.
5) You will not get return phone calls when you request them in a
timely fashion.
6) When you become dissatisfied, management will ignore you. They
will not solve your problem.
7) If you miss an appointment or fail to cancel within a certain
time, they will take some of your credit, but if they blow off your
appointment they won't offer anything to you unless you demand it, and
instead of really giving you a credit, they tell you to just not log
in your next training session. A smarmy way to avoid financial
responsibility for their screw ups.
This company could care less if you like or dislike your training
sessions, if you can't get trainers when you need them to meet your
schedule, if you don't get call backs, if your appointments are
cancelled against your request with our without notification.
They only care that they got your money. Since they have an
aggressive contract, once you pay them, your money is gone and you'll
never get it back no matter how badly you get screwed over by the
staff and managers of LA Fitness and Body of Change.
Never sign a personal training contract without reading it carefully
and preferably showing it to an attorney.
You could lose hundreds or thousands of dollars from these rip off
artists.
