A little rant, but i had to say this...
Today its "bevrijdingsdag" Liberation Day.
The English, US and Canadian troops came in on april/may 1945, and the
Germans surrendered on may 5th.
The celebration is low prifile, but its there. Usually, the Canadian
soldiers who were actually here are invited, but there arent many left.
Also, a lot of them knew Prins Claus (who was married to Queen Juliana)
personally, but he died several years ago.
Coupled on this day, to make it complete, is "dodenherdenking" on may 4th.
On the eve before Liberation Day, we remember those who died in WW-2 and we
are silent for 2 minutes, at 20:00.
At several places, flowers are laid at monuments. Like on DamSquare but
also... the square i live. There is a little monument here, the shape of a
cross, when i look outside the window. At 150 meters or so.
The REASON its here? Well, it was at another place, about 10 minutes walking
from here. Lots of moroccan "muslim" cockroaches live there. Which isnt a
fair thing to say, and i dont want to show any disrespect to the
cockroaches.
Anyway, in 2003, when the flowers were laid, they are usually left
unattended. We have done so for decades. Everybody knows why the flowers are
there. And everyone shows respect. Except for that day in 2003, when
"muslim" teenagers, probably inspired by their genetically damaged parents,
decided to fuck the whole thing up several hours after the flowers were laid
there. Rumour has it, they started to play soccer with it. At first. They
did some other things too, but i am not in the mood to write that here.
After that incident, "muslims" complained that the monument was a little
provocative. The shape cross was a symbol of Christianity. And we cant have
that, can we ?!?!?!
So they decided to move it here. A usual, the police arrived here at 17:00,
and make sure that traffic is low. And to guard the whole place, of course.
The flowers will be guarded for a week.
I am not a very emotional person, but this whole situation stings me. Cant
explain why.
Do i hate "muslims"? Not really. It doesnt make any sense. When you move to
a new appartment, and find out that there are cockroaches, or rodents, you
dont hate them, right? Right. It doesnt make any sense.
You just exterminate them, without having any feelings about it, right?
Right. Which more or less sums up my feelings for these "people." I dont
know. Perhaps i am a little worried that things are going out of hand again.
The police here are a bunch of morons. Sorry, but thats the way it is.
Its not a that big a stretch of the imagenation that this whole situation
repeats itself within a few years. But than it will be at the square that i
live. How would i react? I really dont know. I really dont. Maybe, like all
the other Dutch, i wont do anything. Thats the typical Dutch response, these
days. Or... i might walk up to them, and VERY politely, will ask them to
stop. From experience, i allready know that you cant reason, or argue with
those genetically damaged, low life, cock-sucking retards. Not now, not in
the past, and certainly not in the future. It takes sane people to reason
with.
You just cant reason with this obsolete creatures.
So i might bring something with me, you know, to protect myself. But i hope
this will never happen
