Default Lifting shoes

Guys, your recommendations please? Preferably shoes available on the
high-street rather than over the internet so I can purchase a pair when I
visit your fair land in 4 weeks time.

'Tis a rather LARGE land, Neil. If you're hoping to buy from a real
storefront, it would help to know where you're going.

Vegas/San Fran/San Diego.

Presumably, however, you have chain stores that stock such items?

Retail store is in Torrence, CA. Good luck on finding lifting shoes in
most locations.

I just ordered the above shoe and should be getting it this week. I have
another pair of weightlifting shoes custom made, but these are for
secondary workouts at the local Y. I'll report on them after I've tried
them for a bit.

I'd suggest buying the shoes on the way back home. The odds are not great that you'll
survive all 3 of those cities, so why waste money?

I wouldn't expect to find them in the big chain stores like Dick's;
they're a pretty specialized product. If you're going to LasVegas,
ask Cohen. He would know as well as anyone what can be found there.

You could follow Keith's advice about the store in Torrance,
California, but it's still a pretty long haul from San Diego, and
their San Luis Obispo store is an even longer haul from San Francisco.

But enjoy your trip. When you hit San Francisco, maybe "Lucas Buck"
will give you a tour of the Castro.

Maybe I'll just buy them in the UK then. I just thought I could take
advantage of the ER !!!

I've been to a baseball game in Frisco. I watched the Giants play the
Padres just before flying to Masters Nationals in Denver in 2004. I
went from 100 degree weather on Monday to a blinding snow storm on
Friday.

Last Giants World Series win was 1954.
