Not so fast. To get her to stop trashing him Obama will tap her as veep for
8 yrs, then she'll win the presidency for another 8 yrs after that for a
total of 16, at which time the constitution will be amended to allow for
unlimited terms so she'll be president for 32 additional years (because she
will have fixed health care so by then people will live into their
hundreds). She'll finally leave office in 2057. Cheers.

1) he would have indicated that he would select her during the campaign as
that would have helped him

Don't be so sure. Just look at the ugly primary battle between JFK and LBJ
in 1960. They hated each other but still ended up as running mates, and you
know how they ultimately did. (Well, ultimately they both died, but before
that, they both got to be prez.) I hope he can make a better choice than her
but she might be the best strategy for unifying/mobilizing the D party.

her not being tapped -- uh, I mean chosen. And if she is chosen, I'm sure

Be interesting - particularly if he goes for another - he will make an
original choice I'm sure. Not that Veep is a big deal - someone like Condy
