Default Losing Weight

I have been eating less calories for about 4 months now and going to
the Gym 5 times aweek and doing 2 hour sessions. I have managed to drop
from 201 pounds to 181 pounds which i am pleased about. I'm 5 foot 10
and I need to lose at least another 14 pounds, but I seemed to have hit
a wall and hav'nt been able to lose any weight for the last 2 weeks. I
do 1 hour arobics on the cross trainer and 1 hour weight training. I
need to lose weight off my stomach mostly. Why have I suddenely stopped
losing weight when I'm still doing the same things as the last 4
months? I expected my weight lose to decrease as I approached my ideal
weght , but not stop.Should I eat less calories and burn more calories
off or is my body in starvation mode? I am eating things like porridge
for breakfast and eating fruit about four times a day and veg.
Thanks for any advice.

Because your body adapts to both what you are eating and how you are
exercising. Altho two weeks is hardly a plateau, you definately need
to shake things up after doing the same things for four months. What
'worked' doesnt always continue.
You should change around whatever exercises you were doing (pick new
ones) not necessarily more time spent at them. More weight (increase
them),and pick a different form of cardio. Change around what you eat
too. Try some new foods. Eat dinner for breakfast and your breakfast
for dsinner. You body gets used to having the same fuel day in day out,
it figures out to use them or store them more efficiently. Eat less
calories one day and more then next while maintaining about the same
thru the week (ziggzagging). Changing things up should get you back on
track.

If you'll forgive what might be an unpopular opinion, stop losing weight
for a while. Focus on maintaining the weight you're at, get used to it,
and enjoy the fruits of your labor. When you feel like it (I would wait
at least a month or two), take a deep breath, cut the calories, and give
the whole process another try. It's important to realize that no one
makes progress with the same approach forever, and that backing off
periodically from any stress to your body is a good thing.
