Maximuscle Thermobol - Any good? Any side effects?

Maximuscle Thermobol - Any good? Any side effects?
Hi,
I brought this months edition of Mens Health magazine, to get a few tips,
and there was little Maximuscle booklet, with info and prices on their
products. I noticed they do a fat loss/burn product called Thermobol, which
I thought I might try, as I'm finding it quite hard to loose the last few
pounds to get down to my target weight. However, when I googled the product
to see if I could find it cheaper online (£34.99 in the book, £27.99 online)
I found a site that gave it reviews,
http://www.bodyhut.com/shop/prodReview.asp?idProduct=57 however, some of the
comments worried me:
"The weight just drops off you,if you can put up with no sleep, hot sweats
and anxiety and that was just on one tablet a day, three sent me loopy!!!"
"I managed to endure two full days of taking Thermobol - on the third I had
to leave work as I was being sick too much. The side effects are a
nightmare...couldn't even tell you if it works."
Has anyone here had any experience with Thermobol? Found it any good, found
any side effects? I thought as it was a 'safe, natural herbal formula' that
it would be OK!
Cheers
Ben

What are the ingredients? When I read "reviews" like these, my first thought
is that they are all made up. Everyone wants to think that over the counter
products can have drug like properties, but they are not drugs and will not
have these types of effects. I just looked up the ingredients. From what
they claim is in this product, I would bet the house that these "reviews"
are bull****.

Hi Robert,
Ingredients according to the website are:
Bitter Orange Peel 325mg
L-Tyrosine 300mg
Caffeine 153mg
Green Tea extract(Standardised to 90% polyphenols) 100mg
Cayenne extract (Hot Pepper) 40:1 50mg
Guarana extract 24mg
Bioperine (Black pepper extract) 5mg
Vit B12 - Cyanocobalamin RDA 200µg
D-Biotin RDA -117% 180µg
Chromium RDA 20,000% (From Chromium Polynicotinate) 150µg
Capsaicin extract from Hot Cayenne pepper 120µg
Vit B5 (D-Calcium Pantothenate) RDA - 500% 30mg
Vit-B1 (Thiamin Hcl) RDA - 1786% 25mg
I've taken another supplement that had a few of these ingredients in,
specifically nutrition headquarter's fat metabolizer, which has cayenne
extract, chromium & green tea in, along with a few other things, and I never
had any side effects.
I went into our town centre yesterday, and popped into the GNC healthfood
store, and asked him what he though, he said he'd taken Thermobol himself,
and other Thermogenic supplements, such as Lean System 7, and he'd never had
any problems, and thought those reviews might just be due to people being
allergic to some of the ingredients.
One thing he did say was to be careful with supplements containing chromium,
apparently it f**ks with your blood sugar level, so if you're diabetic you
have to be careful.

Thermobol
I just purchased some to try and loose couple of pounds before holiday to get the six pack out and was not able to sleep more than 4 hours per night. I was also sat in work with heart palpatations and heart murmerings and thought I was going to pass out or have a heart attack for a few hours. Needless to say I could not concentrate in work and would recommend giving these a trial where by you are able to do some exercise if needs be - not sat at a desk -

I had a terrible time on this product. I only used it for 1 week and on the first day of my second week I thought I was dying.
At first I was fine, I have never had heart problems and I do not drink coffee or redbull. I could sleep but would find I had alot of energy first thing in the morning and my boyfriend thought I was on something as I wouldn't stop talking and couldn't sit still.
I took the recomended 3 a day with no problems except the slight occassional headache and pulsating of one eye.
Today is my first day not taking this product as yesterday I thought I was dying, I only had my morning tablet and 3hrs later I was in work when I felt dizzy, I couldn't focus, I couldn't stop shaking and I couldn't breath. Immediatly I was taken home by my manager in a black cab, I couldn't even walk to it as my legs were like jelly and I felt like I was going to pass out. I felt like I had to try and concerntrate on every breath or I would stop breathing and my heart was beating out of my chest, I made the cab take me straight to A-E as I thought I wouldn't make it home and would pass out.
This product scared the life out of me, I am having heart tests at hospital today.
