Hey Krista,
Hey Krista, I started out on your routines, And i gotta admit, they
are bad ass routines.. for a beginner. But when i hear people saying
that someone like bruce lee was all genetics, at first i might have
agreed. But im pretty sure its NOT.
You know, when you fail its your nervous system thats taking that
information and saying to hell with it, i have something better to do.
ITS THE NERVOUS SYSTEM.
The common weight training method that we have here/ also going in the
group is to put your all into it and be a damned bull. But i think
people like bruce lee understood failure and the nervous system better
than that.. I think the current method is kind of crude.
I actually think if you understand how it works and understand how
your nervous system fails.. you are alot better off.
When i first started 2 1/2 years ago i was really crude too. I put my
all into it. About 85 percent each week, switching up exercises.
But i learned that it isnt any of that.. its how close you keep to
your nervous system.. In my opinoin your nervous system is the
governer of your muscles. I learned that it was that that was
regulating my progress.
I Think someone like bruce lee was aware of this.. and others. I dont
know but i think if you are aware of it you will make the right
decisions and not just make a 4 month mechanical plan timed to the
exact rep at the exact time with a stop watch.. etc.
I think there is something more than just martial arts myth bullcrap.
But i dont wannza take a stance, because ive looked like a damn bull
who could lift 350 pounds that could have a heart attack at any time.
But i think thats right.
