Default muscle twitching when losing weight ?

Can anyone explain this? Maybe its only me. But when I lose a decent
amount of weight within a short time, my muscles start twitching on their
own without me even doing anything. It almost feels like a "pulse" or
something crawling under my skin. It feels strange and I always wondered
what the heck this was..

any info would be appreciated

john

Thanks Charles for the links.. But I may have explained it wrong.

I only get this when I lost weight quickly over a short period of time. It
feels like a heart beat, but it could be located anywhere on my body. I can
put my finger on my skin and feel it beating in a sense...like a heart beat.
Im thinking it has to be something bacterial or organism related... Possibly
a die off effect. My current medical diagnosises : Psoriasis, High
Chloresterol, Chronic Candidiasis. The most common side effect I get with
the Candida is that I fall asleep whenever I eat anything that has sugar or
bread in it. I've had this for about 10 years already and noone ever gets
arid of it. Its very frustrating crap to live with. Sugar and Bread are my
sleeping pills.

I just thought everyone had this weird muscle twitching (or whatever) stuff
aswell. I guess not.. Another weird thing to add to my list.

I have gotten muscle twitches every now and then but not for any
particular reason like you. The beating you feel is your own pulse of
blood flowing. I think Charles posted those links just in case your
particular twitches had a cause to them.

Do feel it in only a small area of the body or all over when it
happens? Does it go away after a few minutes or last for days? The
twitches I am thinking of are in a very small area and never last for
more than 10 minutes or so.
