Default Need help with weight routine

Want to lift 3 days a week and need help designing a routine. Goals are
building muscle and weight loss (need to loose about 20lbs). How about
something with a large muscle group and another ancillary grouping? Abs and
cardio each time.

Monday - Legs / ?
Wed - Back / Shoulders
Thurs - Chest / Arms (bi/Tri)

Thanks in advance.

Many people just starting out do full body three days per week with just
basics.

Squats, deadlifts, bench press and rows.
Ab crunches if you want...

And it's "lose" not "loose". The most commonly misused, misspelled word
on the internet. ;-)

Diet and cardio to "lose" the fat.

Hey Omelette,
You give'em hell, don't let no body use no wrong English or nothing.

Burr

Send him to my workout if he's looking for something to do.

You sayin' my advice was bogus? <g>

They are welcome to read the m.f.w. archives...

The routine above is what a lot of PL'ers at my gym use too.
It's a good way to get in and out of the gym fast.
They are all compound exercises that work the entire body.

That's up to him. ;-)
The PL workout works for me, less time in the gym.

Not doing squats right now tho'. Hurts too much. :-(
