He is a fucking tired old windbag, and should have been dropped long
ago, along with the monarchy!
I love it when, touring bombed-out London, fatboy did his usual Spiel
of the V-fingers and "we can take it! We can take it!" and a Cockney
gave him the birdie and said, "who's we, you only come around after
all's clear!"
Fucking loud-assed windbags, the lot of 'em...too bad we didn't have
usenet back then for these assholes to vent and play tough guy -- too
bad GW and his neocon gang don't read MFW more often.... |

Winnie was a windbag and it's good they're finally kicking him out of
the official curriculum. I remember reading about him visiting the
East End once, doing his v-fingered Spiel with the "we can take it!
We can take it!" and a Cockney reportedly shouting back, "what we, you
only come around when all's clear!"
Oh, and let's not forget that he was an early admirer of Herr Hitler. |

You are missing the point entirely...
Perhaps you dont like Adolf Hitler, Stalin and Napoleon.
Should we take them from the curriculum too ?!?!?!

I admire Rommel. His desert warfare tactics are truly something.

Yeah, but the point here is that...

What are you talking about ?!?!?!
GW reads this NG ALL the time!
Some of his best decisions were made because he got inspiration from reading
my posts!
You heard about that new missile shield, right?
Why do you think that Vladimir insists on getting a part of it?
Lasers? My ass. They are going to catapult kettlebells straight into the
atmosphere...

Actually, the article you cited mentioned that personages like Ghandi
have long been removed from official prescription. And if they can
eliminate a guy like Ghandi, then it's high time for Winnie to go,
too!
> Should we take them from the curriculum too ?!?!?!
Well, it's really just about not mandating that Winnie be given
prominence. As your article goes on to point out, naturally
historical principals like him will still be referred to and studied
to some degree when events like WWII are covered.

Technically, tactics are up to field-grade officers. General officers
devise strategy.

The real point hiding in the background is whether it's the man that
makes history or history that makes the man. I believe the latter --
historical circumstances force certain indivduals into leadership
positions, the same way evolution forces certain adaptations over
others. You may think this all sounds very Marxist, but actually it
was noted thousands of years ago by Daoists in China. So, anyway, the
point being that individual personages are incidental to historical
forces, it really doesn't matter whether Winnie is officially mandated
for the national curriculum...indeed, as he himself noted in a rare
moment of honest humility, he was only glad to have been given the
chance to give the lion its roar.

That's GW, not JMW....

I wonder where he got the "Islam is a religion of peace" bit....

Penis envy over women's bitch shields?

It's all judo to me.

Whatever happened to them electro-stim pads on bodybuilders? Do
sending electric currents to force musclar contraction not work??
