* Woman might have fallen on child, authorities say
* Sheriff awaiting official cause of death before deciding on charges
* Mother is thought to have dropped boy off with bedridden relative
Tuesday
LA JOYA, Texas (AP) -- A 2-year-old boy who died with a fractured skull
might have been accidentally crushed by a morbidly obese relative,
authorities say.
Investigators believe that the woman fell on the child, who was pronounced
dead Tuesday, said Bobby Contreras, Hidalgo County justice of the peace.
"It didn't look like there was any foul play from what I saw," he said.
An autopsy was scheduled, with the cause of death to be announced Monday.
Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño, who called the death "suspicious,"
said he would wait for an announcement on the cause before deciding whether
to file charges.
The child was believed to have been dropped off by his mother to spend the
day with the bedridden relative, The McAllen Monitor reported Friday. |

Don't the police have anything better to do than victimize fat people?
The relative will probably be charged with capital murder.
Fat is the new black.

And rightfully so.
Had the person in question taken care of him/herself, you know, healthy
foods and going to the gym and all that, and would weigh aroung 200 pounds,
that little kid would probably be still alive.

See the other post.

P.S. What if the person in question was both fat, black, AND homosexual
!?!?!?!

The old black might have been the Japanese. I was in a diner yesterday
and an elderly gentleman sat down two seats down from me at the
counter. He was wearing a Navy ballcap and, having served five years
in the Navy, I said hello and asked about the cap. We had a nice
conversation while waiting for our food to arrive. He said he was 82
years old and somewhere during our talk he mentioned being injured in
the war. He has back pain as a result and quietly said, "It might be
wrong, but that's why I still can't stand the Japs."
What do you say to an 82-year-old man with lifelong pain as a result
of an attack during the war?
Anyway, "wars am bad!" They turn young men into pain endurers who
carry hate across the decades. In the future, I suspect some 50-year-
old will lean over to get the ketchup bottle and an Iraqi war veteran
sitting next to him at the diner will grumble, "That's why I still
hate the Iraqis," while nursing the stump of his left arm.
In other news: How's the neighborhood, Uncle Bob?

There's no victimization going on by the police. They're, I suspect
and hope, just doing their job. It's the media that is prone to
sensationalize events. One person makes a terrible mistake, trips,
slams an elbow into a toddler's head thus crushing his skull and the
media gets on the horn to bellow "MORBIDLY OBESE MAD WOMAN CRUSHES
BABY!"

Or the kid might have died all the same. A 75-pound cousin could just
as easily have dropped the kid down a stairwell with the same result.

Well, I know you have your concerns, but at least your government
hasn't spent billions making the problem worse. You have 4,000 dead
neighbors as the result of Moroccan attacks?

No. We need them victimized as much a possible so they go into hiding or
lose weight.

I was right! This poor BBW has been arrested on trumped up charges.
Fat people have no chance in the justice system. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/5651337.html

Where's the evidence that the charges are trumped up? Or is this
just based on your personal perception of what might be happening?

Three things. One - How does a "bedridden" woman "fall" on a child?
Either she can stand up or she can't. Two - Clearly, no one in their
right mind leaves a 2½ year old with a bedridden caretaker. Someone
else must have been at home, or the woman is not bedridden. Three - In
a follow-up story the mother of the child had taken her "two younger
children" with her, leaving just the oldest one there. How can you
have THREE kids under 2½? She must have gotten pregnant the day after
she delivered each kid, since the normal gestation period in human
beings is 37-38 weeks. The entire story sounds completely bogus. |

There isn't room for fatties in the justice system. All fatty felons
should be put to work in chain gangs picking up trash, mowing highway
medians or cleaning slaughterhouses. If fatties worked their fair
share, we wouldn't need mexicans. |
