At least you can get some nasty delicious sausage with eggs in England
in the morning. Which works out great as it would be a good time for
dinner in the US. What's an American breakfast again - cereal, some
cookies and milk? I tried to order a steak once and almost got
deported.

Adults, breakfast is donuts and coffee.
College students, breakfast is beer and cold pizza...

I generally eat leftovers or....

<drumroll please>

Omelets.

You don't need egging on Om, but you know you can't make omelets with
jumping out of the frying pan!

Have a great weekend mate - you know I intend to! ;o)

I do also. Will do some shopping tomorrow for T-day, and Sunday is to be
spent at the range with some friends. Skeet shooting first then we will
relax at the pistol range a bit. I bought a BUNCH of .38 on sale so
we'll give the Ruger a good workout.

You mean donuts can be eaten?

I don't think that an average American student would be able to drink
beer every morning if he's planning to get anything above C-. They
don't do that even in Russia. Late evening, maybe.

I gave up on breakfasts long ago. How'd I do it anyway? Assuming that
I'm a badass man with huge tattooed forearms and deep voice, can I
really just walk into Ihop and say like some kinda little girl that I
want "Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity"?

Another impossible thing would seem to be smoking which I personally
wouldn't even try, even in NC. When I arrived to the US, the Chinese
and Russian students, and also old professors used to smoke on the
balcony until one day a forbidding sign appeared out of the blue. A
pharma company I used to work at had something like a mile non-smoking
perimeter around the premises. Then they hired a Eastern European
statistician who proved to be really dedicated not only to the
excellence in statistics but to smoking as well. So he's now getting
plenty of exercise walking out into the forest to smoke every
cigarette. Nobody else there smokes at work, even British, who fly in
large herds back in forth "across the pond".

It's inhuman! I'm really glad that I live in a free country, instead of
USA!

Yes, to persist with smoking against all circumstances it takes some
balls and really strong will.
