Let's change the topic here if possible. This is supposed to be a
fitness/weights group, so I have some questions for all of you. I used
to post extensively on elitefitness and JP Fitness.
What is your opinion on HST (hypertrophy specific training), such as
the one by Bryan Hancock? I had used the method a little over a year
ago and was able to get to my maximum strength for squats - 210 lbs. I
weighed 130 then. I now have more muscle it seems (look about as lean
as a year ago - and am 152 lb - down 3 lbs. since watching my food
intake over the last week or so). I lift higher sets now and lower
weight, but I think that the HST method worked better for me ;-)
Also, what's the best way to achieve vascularity for women? My veins
are starting to show and I understand this is a sign of low body fat
(BF%) and thin skin, and also of increased efficiency. So maybe the q
is on info about getting lean. I really do not like cardio and prefer
to lift weights, but the cardio does lean me out pretty quickly. I am
wondering what motivates you to do cardio. Maybe what motivates you can
motivate me too and I just haven't thought of it yet? Goal now is to
get very lean. I have enough muscles now and want to really let them
show like never before.
Thanks!
Anna
