Default "real" beer tasting, for Keith

Since this is a break-from-PSMF weekend, I went out and got one of Keith's
three favorite "real" beers, Newcastle Brown Ale, for a taste testing. I
also picked up some Guinness Extra Stout, since it was mentioned and I have
never tried it.

Just tried the Newcastle, with a pepperoni pizza (that's traditional British
pub fare, isn't it?). Very good, flavorful, not bitter, easy going down. I
drank it cold, is that OK?

Now for the Guinness. Where did I put that damn cap lifter?! Don't you Brits
know how to make a freakin' screw on cap?

Here it is. Wait a moment while I imbibe...

Pretty good, too. Same, but stronger flavor, still not bitter, very nice.

Hmmm...alcohol seems tohav a mor ppronownd efect aftr a low

So, was a decision ever made on being named the humour award recipient
more than once in a year, six months, other?

I was just curious. For some reason.

And, say, is the ban still on?

I have to agree with Keith, David.

Ansjovis will fuck up the pizza.

Salami + Dutch Cheese. Perhaps a little Chorizo.

(Eh??) Yes I must admit if there is one thing I would kill for down here
it's Canadian bacon. They know nothing here about real bacon (of course you
still to throw in a few anchovies!) Mind you American bacon is not too far
behind.

OK, I don't mind we split the pizza - that stuff seems pretty good - must be
hot salami (on my half I'm having anchovies!)

I tried pizza for the first time only after I got to the US, at a
student party. During that evening I discovered "pepperoni" (the word
I never heard before), and I approved the concept. But then two Aussie
students made pizza topping that included pineapple and shrimp. My
instincts told me that was sick.
