| | | Red Bull on a Stick A small local candy manufacturer, Yost Candy Company, has been making
lollipops since 1949. Yeah, pretty old skool. However, they recently
came out with a product that I thought might be interesting to the gym
crowd: Rockit Pops. http://www.yostcandy.com/store.cfm?p...t&criteria=510
Basically, they're the same ingredients as in Red Bull®, except in
solid, lollipop form. No, they're not cheap. With shipping, they
cost about the same per lollipop as a can of Red Bull®. I bought a
little over a dozen, but so far, I've only tried the blue raspberry.
It did taste pretty good, though, and it does give you same little
buzz of energy that some folks get with a can of Red Bull®. Although
they're larger and thicker than the little kids' lollipops, they
aren't very big, and they dissolve in about 15-20 minutes. I don't
know if they'll catch on amongst folks who like energy drinks, but I
like them, and I thought some folks in MFW might be interested, too. |

You would have to be a sucker to buy that at the price, don't you think? |

heh
A fool and his money! I can't fault Williams, though, as I burn up some
dough on idiotic schtufff.
Still, what the heck, Johnny? Lollipops?
THANKS, PAL! Frigging lollipops.
Oh, btw, I enjoy CLIF BARS, The Natural Energy Bar®.
Yes, a small local energy bar manufacturer, Clif, has been making
energy bars since 1992. Yeah, pretty nu skool. Anyway, I thought their
products might be interesting to the gym crowd: great-tasting energy
bars.
And like owner Gary says, "Hopefully, over the years, we've brought
some products to your life that support your adventures. We plan on
bringing you more in years to come." http://www.clifbar.com/

John is going for the toughest guy in the gym look. He proudly walks
the gym with his protein shake mustache and a mouthful of lollipop.
This Freddie Mercury look alike will show everyone in the gym he can
take a pounding like a real man. |

Yes, I would be horrified if I met with the disapproval of a short,
fat, weak, and stupid fellow like Shute, who jumped on board with the
derision of someone who likes the classic skinny grey alien, except
with glasses and piercings.
Of course, they would be doing more manly things, like drinking the
latest MegaPowerAnabolicProShake and reading the gospel from their
dog-eared copies of The Abs Diet.
Oh, the shame! |

And I'm sure the bespectacled-and-body-pierced skinny grey alien is
rolling around in paramasturbatory glee over my editing error. |

John Williams, hey, your insecure self-editing (elsewhere in this
thread) wasn't all that necessary, imo. But, by all means, enjoy your
self doubt.

Ah, before, during, and after the workout, iirc?
