Default Robot knows best!

Another exciting Saturday night at Casa de Curt. Actually, I'm heading
out to a local restaurant for their Greek night tonight. Bottle of
Ouzo in hand. But I was watching Lost in Space <http://www.imdb.com/
title/tt0058824/> on DVD and the Robot offered a quote that rings true
for me, apparently:

"Except for a slight tingling sensation in my rotor, I am
functional."

The orthopedic surgeon went over my MRI with me recently and offered
that there's no tear.

I reacted to this news with mixed emotions: "So, you're saying I'm a
sissy?"

I mean, it's good that there's no tear but then what am I crying
about? The good doctor offered that I should simply stay the course
and that if things don't improve that he could dig in there to look
for a spur or some other reason for my complaint.

Several hundred dollars to my health care provider later and that's
that. Okay.

Back to the ouzo! I'm actually more interested in coffee and baklava,
but the I promised the one waitress I'd return with the BYOB action.

Wishing everyone an excellent weekend. TGIF (plus one day)!

Wow.. if you had only watched this movie BEFORE the MRI.

Maybe they switched your MRI with someone else

That just sucks. Well... have another doctor look at the MRI results. I had
a situation where one doc would look at my echocardiogram results and not
see anything, then I take the VHS of my echo to another doctor and he
spotted all sorts of things. So get a copy of the results and take it
elsewhere?

Exactly! Coulda saved me fifty bucks in co-payments.

Diabolical, but definitely a possibility. The one technologist
looked... shifty.

Maybe. But I think I'll simply suffer in relative silence.

Or, hey, in the spirit of sissies everywhere, I can just whiiiiine
about it here.

It can happen

No need to suffer in silence.. have another doc take a look if it doesn't
get better.

True! Or.. you can do what I do. When they can't see anything on MRI or
xray, go fuck it up even worse. Make it so bad that they can finally see it
on imaging!
