Its fine. I've had it. I use cocoa butter cream to get rid of it. Its
pretty effective. Just make sure you don't yourself stretching. Always
have proper form. Stretching should go only to the point of pain, never
beyond it.

Why? Gloat as necessary. )
My stretch marks appeared at my knees and across my hips as my quads
are the bodypart that blew up for me. Trade? Didn't think so.
Seriously (althought that's all semi-serious), a cursory Google of
stretch marks care offers: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/e...cle/003287.htm
Wear 'em with pride.

No, they won't go away without surgery, but they lighten in color. And
you should expect to get stretch marks in other places, too, if you grow
too rapidly for your skin. People's skin elasticity varies widely. If
you're someone who gets one, you're likely to be someone who gets a ton.
So don't get fat if you don't want stretch marks.

Dally dear, fyi:
Stretch marks can be caused by rapid muscle hypertrophy.
Often caused by steroid use, but not always...
Genetics can be a bitch. ;-)

Yeah, I know. Most of the guys who get them around the armpit are under
the influence of age-related testosterone poisoning, i.e., adolescence.

Or just growing up. But my point is, if you're someone who gets stretch
marks from THAT, then you're going to get stretch marks from getting
fat. You can't do much about growing pecs, but you can do something
about growing a gut.

True that.

though seeing as I am ~20.
Hopefully its a sign of rapid muscle devoplement, that would be nice
:-)

I read somewhere that Vitamin B6 plays a part in their prevention. I
think there are other factors involved too though. People seem to get
them in certain areas of the body more than others. They pretty much
become a scar which can look pretty nasty if you get enough of them. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
