The day I have to stretch before I take a walk is the day I hang it up
and spend the rest of my life on the couch in front of the TV. I don't
mind stretching before I walk, but often a nice walk _is_ a good stretch
all by itself - hips, hip flexors, lower back, shoulders. Walking is a
great way to gently loosen up the entire body.
