Is this women a complete lunatic? I saw a show where she was leader
of a fat camp. She claimed all health problems stemmed from the colon
and so was giving what she called "colonics", although she was really
giving them enemas. She also administered suction cup and sweat box
treatments. Everyone on the diet was starving. I think most people
lost about 6-9 pounds while at the camp. That might not be too bad
for a skinny person. Most of these people where over 300 pounds and
are probably put off dieting forever.

Where'd you see the show and is it a recent thing? I purchased at
least one of her books back in the day. Didn't know she was still
around or active in fitness/dieting.

(Googles)

Looks like a lot of it is under construction. Bah!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Powter

Wiki offers:

'she describes herself now as a "radical feminist lesbian woman."'

Okay then.

Back in the 1980s she was a married woman and never let on about being a
lezbo.

She hatched three kids by two different guys and married another guy, so she
turned lezzie recently (or maybe played both sides?).

Lezbo? Hey, MFW is a GLBTDLDOTLFLDLRLER, uh, wait, GLTBOTO, never
mind, MFW is *tolerant*, Sam. You musta spelled lesbian wrong, right?
Wrong?

And never let on? Hmmm. Platinum crewcut =/= statement of sexual
orientation? Regardless, I'm sure her girlfriends figured it out
eventually.

Yes it was very recent. It was one of those Paris Hilton/Nicole
Richie shows "The Simple Life". I was bored and coming down from a
hangover. Watching these two stick tubes up fat people's asses is
modern entertainment.

But ATP*, when a person's over 300 pounds it IS where. *EVERY*WHERE!

What's that 'mama' joke?

Yo mama is so fat. When she sits around the house, she sit AROUND the

I saw the info on "The Simple Life" as I Googled. Thought it might be
it.

Makes me glad I don't have cable. Or a TV. Or any interest in Hilton

Apparently she hasn't stopped it yet. She doesn't even bother to
stick around after she sends these people off on their bizarre

I really do question Susan's nutritional facts:

Calories
posted by susan june 15th at 9:00pm

No all calories are created equal...

One pound of protein = 4 calories
One pound of carbs = 4 calories
One pound of fat = 9 calories

More than double the calories...

Exactly...

No wonder she is so slim!

She likes giving anal, probably likes receiving too under the right
circumstances. It's all for health purposes, naturally, otherwise it'd
be prostitution and deviant.

The ones that bug me are typing women when they mean woman (and doing it
more than once), duel instead of dual, and loose instead of lose. Other
errors don't bug me so much, unless the person is a moron, then it's
open season on anything they type.

I thought the rest of my post was far more worthy of attention and
comment than that little bit at the beginning.

Getting fit was the least of my concern in the early nineties. The
only jobs I was getting at the time where burning off plenty of
calories. And the tiny paycheck wasn't doing much for my food budget
either.
