Default Vanadyl Sulfate

Used to hear a lot about this supplement...

Fact or fiction?

When I used to use it before a workout, I did notice an (apparent)
increase in blood circulation to the muscles being worked, (got "the
pump" feeling) but it could have been a placebo effect. I have about
1/2 bottle left in the cabinet that is about 6 years old.

Opinions???

According to:

http://www.pponline.co.uk/encyc/0085.htm

It hasn't really been tested on athletes, but does help drive glucose
uptake into muscles in diabetics. Basically, it mimics insulin.

Now, there is a school of thought that says that insulin actually isn't
anabolic in healthy adult humans. If that's true, vanadium shouldn't do
you any good. But who knows.
