What kind of file is that? My computer won't play it if the file name is
not named some sort of video file. I need to change it.

Hm. I have quicktime and Windows media player... I don't have real
player installed.

I'll have to go google one up for mac and hope it's compatible with 10.2.

It's in Real format, but if you don't want to mess with the Real player,
and lots of people don't, you can get Real Alternative, which will play
the file just fine.

But they say it needs a newer version OS.

I couldn't find a mac version of the Real Alternative. Real Player
kind of sucks. I have been using that Media Player Classic for years
which just uses the codecs.

I tried looking earlier to see if VLC could do it. It does everything
but Real Player.

MPlayer works on macs and it can make use of Real libraries if they are
installed on the system. Not sure how easy would it be on mac, but
probably not difficult. Some "normal people" used this program.

I've read people complaining about strictness of judging in USAPL, but
from a point of view of a bystander like me, numbers matter little, because
I have no idea what is really heavy and what is just heavy.

On the other hand I can see half squats and sloppy lockouts.

Mind you, I didn't check how it works now, but there was a guy who was
die hard mac fanatic and he used to brag about how great was the soft on
macs. So he bragged about MPlayer too, and it's supposedly great and
intuitive GUI.

It turned out to be the same program with the same GUI as for Linux.
The good thing was, that you clicked on a movie and it worked. You
installed it by drag&drop, AFAIR.

So, this kind of "normal people".

There was a moment when MPlayer was generally recommended media player
for mac, like say Firefox for web on Windows, but if it still is I do
not know.

Anyway, it sure is capable of working with real files if it has
appropriate libraries available during compilation.
