| | | Weak hands ? I'm a 5'7", 58kg 17 year old. I'm not particularly weak in general,
actually with judo and swimming I'm stronger than most in my frame.
But recently this problem has been irritating me, I have more
difficulty opening pepsi bottles and I can NOT open skittles packages!
My wrists are strong from Judo, and I thought those were the muscles I
needed for that kind of stuff.
It's not really much of a problem when you think about it, but
handing your little sister the pepsi bottle to open can be
embarassing!
I hope I can get some advice..
Peace

I'd pay a visit to a doc. I mean Skittles? C'mon even Lou Gherig could open
a pack of Skittles. Seriously though, see a doctor. |

The best solution for weak hands is jerking off. Alternate hands. Left hand
on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Right hand on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
Rest them on Sundays.
Jerking off helped me develop crushing hand power. If you really want to
excel, then you need to jerk off your friends too. They will appreciate it,
and you will get a grip of steel. |

That's gotta be a joke. Otoh, a decent pair of scissors will best any
package of Skittles! And tap water is probably better for you than
Pepsi anyway. I hope the OP's little sister is around to help him open
the spigot. ;o)

You seem to have a love-hate relationship with what some would
consider homosexual activity, Nony.
And how's that anger management working out for you?

There are several classic ways to train hand strength but I don't know
which, if any, will address your issue. Carrying heavy things is a good
place to start - take a couple of dumbbells for a walk. Another choice
is a gripper - see http://www.ironmind.com . Grip-intensive lifting
work is, of course, also great - pullups/chinups, deadlifts, and
kettlebell swings.

Glue a cup on an empty bottle. Push the bottle against your body, and
try to unscrew it. Adjust the pressure with witch you push the bottle
against your body according to your strength level.

If you are for real get a rubber ball and squeeze. Do both wrist curls and
do finger lifts.
Start slow.

I'm for real . Thanks last 3 guys. I have been practicing on pepsi
bottles for the last few days, but using my teeth to close it as tight
as I can and then trying to open it. I guess the problem was my skinny
fingers, I'm getting callouses on my finger and it's getting easier to
open them.
I think my problem with the skittles is weird, I really can't tell if
it's because I'm not strong enough or because I can't keep my grip on
the pack and it just slips out.
Sorry for the weird problem, it just irritated me. After lifting 80 kg
and climbing 7 stories with the weight it just seems insignificant
that I can't do something so simple.
Peace

The best way to thicken your fingers without creating callouses is by
rubbing clitorises. Get a girlfriend who is a nympho and rub her clit till
your fingers get thick. |
