Default Went back to my old pub

Just for the hell of it, I checked in to one of my favourite pubs - have not
been there for a few months - something was wrong - it was not the same old
friendly place - people did not call out to me. I had a little talk with the
bartender. He said "all the old regulars are now at Charlies - there is a
new crowd here now from a different part of town" - I said "Oh". Then I
went over to Charlies. Now I am happy. Got the same bunch of old friends
and we natter to each other. It's just great. I am so happy now. Got my old
friends. I laugh at their jokes and they laugh at mine. We sit and drink and
natter to each other. I am so happy. I said to myself "no need to check in
to my old pub anymore"
As I walked out the door I heard the bartender mumble beneath his breath
"Good riddance"

Sounds like that is close
I'll just stay in the rice paddy and the hell with it.

How's everything down there? Business good?
With the cost of fuel everything is getting tight up here.

I wrote that fool an email and told him not to do it but did he listen to
me, shit.
Think he thinks he was finishing the job his father started.
I had to vote for him twice and I guess McCain gets my vote this time.

Over you can vote anyway you want, after the boxes are sealed one truck
turns right and another pulls out with new boxes.

Ain't it wonderful.

Fuel prices rise again for nth time as RP inflation worsens
MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos woke up on Saturday with another rise in the
prices of fuel products, the 18th time this year. Oil firms implemented the
increase after the government reported that inflation rose to 11.4 percent
in June, the highest rate in 14 years.

It seems Obama will win in a landslide.
here business is good - employment is nearly 100% - dollar is strong -
inflation low
sure fuel is dear but we seem to be handling it ok

over there seems corruption rules - 3rd world country what can you expect -
so long as you have stability that is the main thing

Wow but with inflation that high everything must be going up
Yes fuel rises is going to go on and on. Wait till the Israelis drop some
bombs on Iran and you will see fuel costs go up another 50% overnight
