Default What other types of barbell and weights should I buy?

I am trying to set things up so that i won't have to switch plates
much during my free weight training. I have the followings:

- a recline bench (simple one that take no attachments)
- 2 pairs of dumb bell: 5 lbs and 10lb
- 2 pairs of 2 lb weight plates
- 1 pair of 2.5 weight plates
- 1 pair of 10 lbs weight plates

I have a 1 in standard barbell with threaded end which I am thinking
to set up with some plates and never remove those plates as I hate
spinning the locker to get plates off.

I am planning to buy a 1in barbell that would work with the the type
of collar I got which is very easy to put it on and easy to remove.

Now my questions: Should I buy an E Z Curl bar?

What other things for eight training that would not take space are
worth buying?

No.

25 lbs and 45 lbs weight plates. I gather that you are a woman,
probably untrained and all, but still you should at least be able to
move a standard bar with two 25 lbs plates on it. If you are like many
other women I knew, you _think_ that whatever you have on a bar is
"heavy", but (if you are like etc. etc.) you are probably able to lift
twice more. That's the deal with lifting. If you are able to lift
more, you should. It's hard. I know.

BTW - what for you need those 5lbs dumbbells? Fancy earrings?

Andrzej.... yet, anyway!

Late last year, I got a weight trainer ad did free weight. (Before I
bought the package, I told him I only wanted to do free weight.) He
made me lift more than I would have tried - he mae me use stationary
bike at the beginning to bring my heat rate up and then and rope in
between weightlifting so yes, I did realize that i am able to lift
more. I will buy those weights.

Now, you are telling me. Well, I'll keep it in the car and do bicep
while at traffic light. How is that?

You could do what you like with them. But a real man will always feel
better. ;-)

51 lb dubmbells for fancy earings would indeed be impressive.

Your could get by with a pair of dumbbell handles, several assorted
weight plates, maybe a weight tree, and that bench. To avoid changing
weights (except when You need to increase intensity), just get a few more
pairs of dumbbell handles and weight plates. The EZ curl bar is probably
unnecessary. The money would probably be better spent on a pull-up bar
and/or something to do dips on (potentially the same piece of
equipment).
