I'm actually having better luck firing faster. It feels weird that I do
better if I don't really "aim". There are no sites on this shotgun and
the Barrel length is 28".
It is a fixed full choke. A sawed off has no choke but you could get it
threaded if you want so you can use adjustable ones.
I originally purchased this as a home defense weapon. I plan to try to
purchase additional barrels for sporting but it's a discontinued model
so that's not going to be easy. :-P
Are you using a 12 gauge? This one is 20 so it's not that painful. My
chest muscles were mildly sore this morning but no big deal.
I was using #9 dove shot heavy game loads.
They were on sale, $39.00 for 250 rounds. :-)
I'd like to get good enough to win some turkey shoots. That would be fun!
And just to keep it on topic, turkey is an excellent protein source......
