| | | You guys have talked about everthing but the gym. Got in the gym three days last week.
At the end of the week as I looked back I feel I may have only put 75%
effort into my workout, felt like I shorted myself.
I only got two bike rides in and I also felt I didn't do my best.
Monday when I went to the gym I had "The Don't Wantas" but when I got there
I gave my all, I pushed some weight and I felt good with my self.
Today was ride and again "I didn't wanta" but I went. I seemed to get in a
grove and ended up doing 30 miles at a good pace. That's 10 extra miles and
I felt I could have ridden another 30 miles.
When I got home I set down and rested a few minutes and when I went to get
up I knew how many miles I had gone, I was so sore/tired I just could walk.
BUT,
I feel great about what I have done so far this week.
I have to go to Manila and do some papers tomorrow so I won't get my
Wednesday workout this week!!
How you guys have all been talking about everything but the gym so lets get
back in the gym and think about "FITNESS"

Sometimes it pays to deload. I like to back off at least once a month to
give myself time to heal and recover. Then take a running start at the
heavier weights again with renewed enthusiasm. |

You strategically deload your medicine? Anyhow, work has had me away
from the gym the last 3 days but I have the next 4 days back in the gym
coming up!

I like when those "I don't wanna" days turn into the best workouts. I
sometimes don't get finished with my day till about 11 pm or so and I just
want to get into bed. If it's a gym day I usually pull it together and go
anyway. Some days I'll really be dragging but after about 20 minutes I get
into it and have a great workout. Only problem is that I usually get home
after midnight, can't sleep, and have to get up early the next day.

That's funny, but what comprises a picnic?
Some people (quite possibly including people in this thread) are 2
sandwiches short, a picnic basket, a bigass field, ants, a bottle of
wine or other beverage, other food required, plastic dinnerware, cups,
napkins, cheese, Triscuits, and a picnic blanket short of a
picnic.
NOT ME, THOUGH! I'm completely well-adjusted and issue free.
And modest, realistic, etc.

Any self-respecting picnic needs a good cheese...
I recommend Brie or a Boarshead cream Havarti.
Wine of your choice with a crispy Italian sourdough.

You know that sounds quite nice except for the ants. Makes me think of doing

relationship to Scuits, Bi-scuits and Tri-scuits, The Annals of Sodium,
12, 234-238"
