different options of egg retrieval ? and UGET versus clinician touch

Hello all
I just had two trial transfer -different doctors.
the first one was done with a gizmo and ultrasound and did not hurt
at all and the second one made me cramp a great deal and get a fever.
(I am on antibiotics now)
I am considering going with the second doctor but I am worried about
the pain and infections that the second one caused.

I wish I had known about Ultrasound-guided embryo transfer versus
clinician touch (blind transfer) before going to the second doctor.

So my question for u folks is this: Are there different procedures
that they use for egg retrieval or is it the same all through ?
