    Default Prostate Cancer symptoms..

I get confused about the symptoms of prostate cancer, and those of having a small or weak bladder.

Both make you weant to urinate often. I go usually 3 or 4 times in the night, but apart from that, don't have any painor other symptoms.

My GP says at 56, I am too young to be likely have prostate cancer! He also said that the treatment for it (presmably radio/chemo therapy) will render you impotent).

Where's an authoritative website where I can go and read up on this?

There are various causes due to which an individual may get a pain in his/her neck. Accident where the neck has undergone trauma may be one of the reasons. The muscles react with by tightening and contracting creating fatigue and producing lactic acid. This lactic acid is the cause of pain and stiffness. There are other reasons like old age and osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis which are a major cause of neck pain and disorder like cervical. They have a direct affect on the spine which eventually spreads to the whole body and disorders maybe experienced in the whole body.

Prostate cancer at its early stage may not show symptoms but it will on its more advance stage such as, trouble urinating, decrease force in the stream of urine, blood in the urine, blood in the semen, discomfort in the pelvic area and pain in the bone.

Prostate cancer occurs when cells in the prostate gland grow out of control. There are often no early prostate cancer symptoms, but some men have urinary symptoms and discomfort. Prostate cancer treatment options are surgery, chemotherapy, cryotherapy, hormonal therapy, and or radiation.

Prostate cancer markers can help predict and monitor the disease with accuracy. Some help determine how aggressive the prostate cancer is. Learn about these markers.
